I am not trying to taunt you or insult you, I just can't understand why people report 'errors' without ever giving the error message. I could not get this to work on a Latitude D620 no matter what I did. I tried several different methods of imaging (both slip-streamed and not)and making the drive bootable. It may just be the Dell models.edit2: Further, I was able to boot the machine from Flash, just not with the XP installation setup.

Actually, it booted on one or two tests, but could not complete installation. And this was not a SATA HDD driver problem (XP has no native SATA support, but BIOS was set to an unalterable 'compatibility mode').
